Please Re-Register

For those of you with keen memories or an astute sense of design, you’ll notice some changes to our website. A slightly cleaner look, smaller buttons, and fewer of those buttons, will tip you off. Those of you merrily going about your way, well, we’re going to hit you over the head with it.

Here’s what’s happening. We need to ask you to kindly re-register on the site. This is a one-time thing, and the net result will be a better, more useful, Hoot web site. Over the past couple of months we’ve come to the conclusion that to make the site capable of all the collaborative and informative features we want to install over time, we simply had to redo the underlying architecture. Plain old php code is out, drupal is in. This will give us more features in the wiki Support Center, and syndication of the dynamic content. It also makes administration easier, which is important to minimize spam in the comments areas.

So, please take a few moments and register again if you’re a past user. Sorry for any inconvenience. And if you’re a first time visitor, Welcome!
